Aerolase Skin Rejuvenation

Aerolase Skin Rejuvenation

Aerolase NeoClear is a short pulse, 1064 nanometer laser that penetrates deep into the dermis to rejuvenate and revitalize skin.

Frequently Asked Questions about Aerolase
How does Aerolase Work?

The Aerolase laser is attracted to three chromophores within the skin: water, hemoglobin, and melanin. Due to the multidimensionality of the treatment, Aerolase is able to rejuvenate and tighten the skin through addressing skin concerns such as tone and texture, redness, pigmentation and laxity.

Does the treatment hurt?

Aerolase is a virtually painless treatment. There is a warm sensation over the areas being treated with the laser. There is no numbing required.

What does the treatment entail?

After the skin is sterilized, the laser energy is applied to the targeted areas. Depending on the size of the area(s) treated, treatment time may vary between 10-20 minutes. No special aftercare is required.

How many treatments will I need to see results?

To yield best clinically significant results, multiple treatments (3-5) spaced 2-3 weeks apart are recommended. However, each patient’s individual skin care needs may vary, so we ask you to schedule an initial consultation prior to undergoing treatment.

What can I expect after the treatment?

Due to the nature of the treatment, there is no significant downtime and you will are able to resume normal activities immediately following the treatment.

When will I see results?

Many patients see results immediately after even single treatment and further improvement following subsequent treatments.

Are there any limitations following the Aerolase treatment?

We ask you to apply SPF immediately following treatment to keep your skin protected. You are also asked to refrain from using any products with retinols and strong acids for the next 4-5 days depending on your skin sensitivity.

Is Aerolase right for me?

Patients who are experiencing age related changes or who are looking for overall rejuvenation of their skin are excellent candidates for the Aerolase treatment. Due to the minimal-to-no downtime associated with the treatment, Aerolase is a quick and effective targeted laser treatment for patients who are looking to treat specific skin concerns with no downtime.
