How long does a treatment take?

How many treatments will be needed?

Dr. Reszko will discuss with you the likely number of treatments that will be needed based upon the area(s) you wish to have treated and your desired results. Typically 1-2 treatments are needed for each area.  Treatments are spaced 4-8 weeks apart.

When will I start seeing visible results?

The energy delivered by truSculpt triggers the body’s own healing cascade to break down fat cells in treated areas. This process takes anywhere from 4 weeks to 3 months. You may begin to see results anytime during that period, or later.

What do I need to do before a treatment?

There is no special preparation needed. You will have to remove any jewelry or body piercings in the area prior to treatment.

What happens during the treatment?

After a brief pre-treatment preparation, Dr. Reszko or one of her associates will apply the truSculpt hand piece to your skin and will deliver targeted pulses of appropriately calibrated RF energy. Each pulse will last on average 5 minutes; upon completion, the handpiece will be moved to an adjacent area to begin a new pulse. The actual treatment will typically last between 15 minutes and an hour, depending on the number of pulses applied.

What does it feel like?
